Lizard Skin Care Body Butters

and other fine skincare products!

The Lizard Body Butter is a product that you really have to feel to appreciate. A wonderful, thick, emollient cream that seems to both sink in and float on top – making those impossible dry spots become pliable and soft. We use it on our heels, our elbows, shins – well, OK, sometimes even on the face. It's really heavy for daily moisturizing, but as a night cream or after bath rub, it's perfect for anyone suffering from, uh, "mature skin". Ashy skin. Lizard skin.

The emollience comes from the 5 oils used: unrefined shea butter; grape seed oil, a light oil; jojoba oil, actually a plant wax that is absorbed easily into the skin; meadowfoam seed oil, known for its stability as well as its effects on mature skin; and my personal favorite, unrefined hemp seed oil, a wonderful source of Omega oils.

In addition, we sell pure, unrefined shea butter in one-ounce jars, either unscented or scented. Shea butter comes from the nut of the karite tree in west Africa, and has many uses including moisturizing skin and hair. This wonderful, soft nut butter has a slight nutty smell similar to cocoa butter. I use it on my lips, my cuticles, my heels, my hands... all over!

If that isn't enough, we have our Well Skin Balm - a soothing blend of shea butter, emu oil and beeswax, with lavender and tea tree essential oils, everything that's good for the skin!

Note of "caution": a little dab'll do ya! Just a little will go a long way, so a small jar will last longer than a similar size hand lotion.

Body butter ingredients: water, cyclomethicone, shea butter, meadowfoam seed oil, grape seed oil, emulsifying wax nf, jojoba oil, stearic acid, hemp seed oil, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, isopropylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben. The last 4 ingredients are the preservatives which help protect you from any microbial activity that appears in unpreserved water-based lotions.
